Action-packed activities form the core of being a Scout, encouraging young people to make their own decisions and to explore the world around them.
How to Join
You are encouraged to come along and take part in a section meeting appropriate to your age (see the panel at left). Chat with the Scouts to find out about what goes on, and ask what you need to do to become a Scout.
You can also talk to any of the Adult Leaders to find out more.
If you decide you'd like to join us, fill in the application form and post it with a cheque to our Treasurer.
What it costs
There is an annual fee of $120 for one youth member of Brooklyn scout Group. Families with two children in the Group pay $220. Families with three or more youth members pay $250.
This money pays for the upkeep of the Scout Hall and our equipment, electricity, insurance etc and includes a levy which we pay to the Scout Association of NZ. |
